they’ve definitely saved each others lives and covered for each other so much over the years that moving together like a single unit is like breathing

stuff like radcliffe knows julius’s limits when theyre strategizing but if something needs to be done julius is willing to push his limits (but radcliffe is always scared of the risks)

Basically my sister yelled at me for having a maladaptive daydreaming problem cause she thinks its annoying and she thought that me thinking about fictional characters all day is preventing me from doing things and that i need to go to therapy to "fix" it (which I do agree with, but all it did was just make me feel like shit for the things I cant do which "normal"/neurotypical people like her I guess can do so easily ig)

Well today I was also supposed to take my drivers exam (the permit test with the multiple choice questions) which I was super stressed over, its always been my dream to drive but I was always scared of the actual test part (hence why it took me so long to actually do it), I know that if I failed I could just do it again, but I didnt want to because 1) I would feel bad if I didn't 2) it would be a hassle to try again if I failed, and 3) I was impatient and I wanted the stress over with so that I can drive,

Everyone around me told me to just spam the practice quizzes online which is what I did for an entire week, but I was really scared that none of the questions I practiced for would be on the test and I would fail because of it

In the practice tests I took, they said I could get up to 6 questions correct before failing so I went in with that knowledge, they actually never said there was a limit on the actual test, but I definietly went over that number (probably around 7 wrong) and i thought i was going to fail, but I realized Im going to have to finish this test one way or another, and I imagined Derek saying that ("well yeah you might fail, but are you gonna sit at this computer without submitting it because of that? Your gonna have to finish this test whether you fail or not."-him probably.) so I completed it anyway, but I actually DID pass it, and I was so shocked because I genuinely couldnt believe I did and I was so expecting myself to fail, so when the recpetionist person asked for my paper after I literally had to go up to them (shaking and trembling by the way) asking if I passed and they just shrugged and said "yeah I guess, you can apply for the drivers test whenever your avaliable" and sounded completely bored while doing so (because they've probably seen this a 100 times before)

So I do feel really happy rn because in a way, I proved my sister wrong, I DID manage to accomplish something because of my love of fictional characters and using that as a way to cope despite her saying otherwise (And its also really funny I requested a part 2 of the selfaware!derek fic @sleepy-k0i made cause I was feeing really awful about myself yesterday, and it also had derek cheering the reader on and saying that they'll do great things, and then then guess what, I did)

And as a bonus heres somethings I wish I knew before doing my permit test because I think people can use it (the way i couldve used this advice), tho granted this might be different for people in countries thats not america (and my state in california in particular)

-DO spam the practice tests you can find online if you can find them, thats the best way to study honestly, there is also the handbook but my neurodivergent ass hates reading, and also because mine happened to be outdated and I would prefer it if the questions were the most up to date as possible, from my experience most of the ones on the practice tests were the ones on the real one with a couple outliers

-Just stay calm and don't overthink it, often the ones that feel the best are the correct (And I know not overthinking is really hard especially if you have anxiety like myself where I have no choice but to overthink everything, but trying to clear your head and stop stressing over the hard questions or the ones you got wrong/might got wrong does help)

Omg this is amazing. I can so imagine Harry buying out all the lipstick at the makeup store and insisting that Uma help him see if any of them are kiss proof. Honestly, yeah. I never read that part (library at my school only went to Eclipse), but I knew from reading online stuff.

I had the feeling something was up, and going back and rereading TNP (Especially having read Po3 first, my order of reading was wack) made my jaw drop.

It was a well-done twist. Could it have been better done? Yes, but so could everything. I'll give credit where it is due, Hollyleaf's religious trauma induced breakdown was uncomfortable. As someone who no longer experiences what could called 'Faith' due to poor experiences with it, Hollyleaf is intriguing because we were taught the same stuff.

The foreshadowing was good! Those who caught it, caught it, and were satisfied. Those who didn't were SHOOK. I still remember people (hilariously) wondering if Tigerstar and Hawkfrost even knew, I'm in camp "Tiger didn't know but Hawk did and didn't care".

Part of the foreshadowing if I remember correctly was also one of the very, very few moment where being fat wasn't mocked. I believe the line was, in context, about Thunderclan doing well in their new home, so well in fact that "even the slender Leafpool was looking plump"

Her being plump having been a good thing and a reference to how healthy they all were was awesome, but also knowing that she was in early to mid pregnancy? That was the little tipoff that made me go "Oh they actually planned this one!"

If only they took that same mentality to every other arc but people whinged about "muh continuity lockout" like the books don't spell it out to you come ON yall. Ivypool's Heart mentions Bristlefrost's Fridge like 40 times in the first 2 chapters.

I liked they way the twist was handled initially, and while I will say, of course Leafpool did nothing wrong, the three had a right to not exactly be happy about things. You're allowed to be upset that you were lied to, especially something like this.
