so... *guilty face* i may have forgotten about the tuskens? and then i saw this and spent 20 minutes furiously going over my long as hell google doc. but... I don't think it's going to make it, to be honest. Anakin and Padmé certainly aren't going to ever mention it, and beru and owen and Cliegg(wait so Cliegg died in the 3 years between AOTC and ROTS? what? we're... ignoring that) aren't going to reach out. No one else knows. Possibilities for having it would be:

-enterprising reporter goes to tatooine because 'hey! skywalker's from there, I may as well see what his families like' and comes back with the news that a maniac with a glowing blue stick slaughtered a tribe of tuskens and wait, wasn't skywalker there at the time? (this has the issue that the general public doesn't know where Anakin is from and they'd have to ask the jedi and if not they'd ask anakin which i don't think is going to happen anytime soon....)

-anakin and padmé are talking and anakin says something like, "I'm so mad! they're being barbaric! as barbaric as the tuskens!" and sabé/someone overhears but then again really unlikely?
