So... what if Pink Diamond made two other Spinels as gifts to the other Diamonds?

Orange Spinel would be a pretty piece to have around but she wouldn’t be able to preform her friend duties often. Yellow is busy and any other gems around wouldn’t count as a “friend.” So she mostly spends time talking to herself and practicing conversations that might happen. When Yellow is around she does her best at being a friend.

Purple Spinel would be put to great use after Pink’s leave. Even more so during and after the Gem War. Unfortunately Blue’s powers effect her greatly, as do most all gems.. this means that she has to work up a smile, make Blue smile or laugh, all without bursting into tears herself. It’s very hard to make a grieving person happy...

White was given Pink’s Spinel, believing that she would appreciate her perfect cut. Their interactions are complicated, Spinel doesn’t want to be White’s best friend because PINK is supposed to be her best friend. This peaks White’s interests because Spinel is “rebelling” against her orders yet nothing is wrong with her gem. The two have interesting interactions and White doesn’t know why she keeps her around.
