Celery and pudding. It's the texture. I also hate anything overly sweet.

Hurricanes, entire weeks of nothing but rain, and summer heat.

"You are...very warm..." Leonard felt his face flush harder, and his heartbeat quickened. Fia let out a soft laugh. "Do you want me to stop?" she asked.

The Tarnished shook his head. "Mm...no," he stammered, "I'm fine." He moved closer and shifted his weight to a more comfortable stance. "I'm just not used to feeling the embrace of another."

Fia nodded and caressed his head. "You're a Loner, are you not? And a warrior. You're used to the company of other recluses such as yourself, and have slain so many. To be held in the midst of battle must feel strange to you."

"Yes, but...yours brings me great warmth and comfort."

Fia laughed again. "Oh? So you have felt the touch of others?" she teased.

"Once," Leonard responded with a nervous chuckle, "They took me in and healed my wounds," he explained, smiling slightly. His smile turned into a frown. "Never saw them again."

He could feel Fia's arms gently squeezing him tighter. "I promise that'll never happen with me," she assured. "Whenever you feel lost or hopeless, come back to the Round Table and seek me out. I'll do whatever it takes to ease your pain."

Leonard couldn't help but bury his face into her chest. "Just being held like this is enough," he murmured, drowsily.
