Confession
I’d really like to design my human!R.O.B. with a more “Y2K” aesthetic, but I just can’t do it in good consciousness because the actual R.O.B. is so blocky and “not that”. He’s basically the antithesis of that design style.
#text#a lighter confession for y'all#i mean#i could just do what i want#but i feel like a good humanization should be a little bit clever too#and making him y2k inspired is just self serving#i mean there's a little bit of it in there#his hood/helmet thing is kinda super milk-chan inspired#but i always go back and forth between rounding out his features and forcing myself to keep them kinda square#like his bust area and his legs#like there are definitely ways to stylize it#but i associate that style with a lot of round and bubbly shapes#and chrome#while rob is incredibly square#and very not chrome#in spite of being a literal robot#he isn't very 'futuristic'#so he's less y2k and more... mod i guess#hm... there's an idea#mod rob
