Resistance takes many forms, some of us are rallying in the city, some of us are holding space in our communities and some of us are on the front-lines of the destruction and destroying. It's time to strengthen the bonds between us, it's time to build support and solidarity between all of our sites of resisting.
After months of traveling, speaking and planning with other Indigenous land defenders and allies, Ancestral Pride are fortifying the front lines and officially launching the pilot build for the Sovereign Housing Project. It's time for the rest of us to step up and put in. The first step is sourcing a chainsaw. There are so many chainsaws floating around so called British Columbia, so lets get out there and find them. Let's check the corner pawn shops and family garages, let's work together and help this project get off the ground. Ancestral Pride is looking for a Huskevarna (630-660) or Stihl equivalent with at least a 24 inch bar, in other words, a chainsaw for milling lumber.
Do you, someone you know, your family or friends have a chainsaw? Let us know at: [email protected].
