This is what Iâm thinking about currently and why I havenât created anything yet. I want to make sure the chats I make will be used by enough people so something like a survey or application form would be best. For example if I were to get a lot of WLW interested in following but only one MLM itâd be pointless in making an MLM chat (Of course Iâd hope that not be the case)
Right now I want to make servers for the following: MLM and WLW are definites. Then POC and Transgender and Non-Binary Fans (I dont know if people would want these seperated or not, I canât speak for any of these communities. If people want an Asian fan-specific, or an african-american fan specific, it really depends on how many people are interested)
And obviously the general servers: General, Mass Effect, Dragon age
I may make an asexual specific server too, or just a server thatâs stricter again on discussions when it comes to NSFWÂ but that just depends on what others want.
So to make sure things are actually going to be used, and enough people are in the chats to make them worthwhile Iâd probably need a survey or an application form.
Ultimately I want this to be a place you feel comfortable to talk about bioware, and bioware fandom issues in so Iâd want opinions on how best to go about it.
Of course once its all settled and Iâve got the server completed and the chat ready then itâll be a case of messaging me and as long as you meet the criteria (minority group and not racist/homophobic/biphobic/transphobic etc.) Iâll put your discord number in
@amusingmurff I agree wholeheartedly, but correct me if I'm wrong, I think EA is the one to blame. From what I understand, Jaal was supposed to be bi from the beginning, the VA for Scott even confirmed he had recorded voices for the romance option, but time constraints from EA and pressure to release on their schedule made them ship the game without the finished stuff, which is now being added via patches. I would also like to defend that BioWare acknowledged that was a mistake and fixed it. So like, I agree it should've been there from the start, but rather than making excuses, they realize that was a mistake so I'm willing to let it slide based on that.
