“A Mother’s Touch: The intimacy, love, and passion behind Tokeino Hari’s animation style.” - It would take a loving and devoted mother’s touch to craft such heartwarming tales, with such gorgeous art-style/animation, as seen in the INCREDIBLE works of Writer/Mangaka, Tokeino Hari. 🤱🏼🖊❤️ From Tokeino’s very 1st published Manga, “Onii-chan to Issho” (Me & My Brothers), to her latest (and on going) masterpiece, and my personal favorite of her incredible works, “Gakuen Bebīshittāzu” (School Babysitters), with “Hitai ni Mikadzuki” (The Crescent Moon on Forehead) & “Gyakuten Honey” (Reversing Me & Honey) in between the two, Tokeino Hari’s art-style/animation greatly compliments the beautiful and heartwarming tales she crafts/writes. They absolutely do!!! 😃😍 Watching #GakuenBebīshittāzu in particular, the animation really stood out unlike MOST Anime(s) yours truly has ever seen, past or present, because once again, it has #AMothersTouch to it, especially in regards to the struggles and hardships, yet the joy and privilege that comes with being a parent, whether as a mother, father, or an older brother/sister (Onii-chan/Onee-chan). 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💞 Tokeino Hari is a very private woman who keeps her personal life a secret, understandably so, but there’s no question that Tokeino-san pours out her heart and soul into crafting/writing such a beautiful and heartwarming tale as #GakuenBebīshittāzu which is most certainly the heart and soul of an ever-so loving and devoted mother to her babies. 👩‍👧‍👦💝 The best example of a fellow writer/mother yours truly could compare Tokeino Hari to is Arlene Klasky, one of the three creators of one of Nickelodeon’s earliest television programs that catapulted the #TVNetwork to mainstream success, and a TV Show yours truly is forever fond of, “Rugrats” (1991-04). 👶🍼 Two shows, one from the #USA🇺🇸 and the other from #Japan🇯🇵 brought to life by two craftswomen of their respective crafts, and mothers to their children.
