I am thrilled to share character art of Emory and Amelia from my debut novel, Bloodlines, coming in early 2026.

flag id: a flag with 3 stripes, which are soft cool purple, dark indigo, and soft blue. within the middle stripe is a symbol of a gold outline of a heart with a 'y' within it, with its downward line connected to the bottom point of the heart and its diagonal lines extending into the curves of the heart. end id.

for anon! this term is similar to parosexual, but with amory. an example of paroamory would be someone who is monoamorous towards men, polyamorous towards women, nonamorous towards nonbinary folks, etc.

the flag is based on the blue and purple parosexual flag. i made the symbol using this heart, with the 'y' in the center meant to be a sort of 'branching path', representing the different amories one feels.

For context they meet when Amory isn't a vision holder yet, when Amory just began travelling teyvat as a novice adventurer. Her first stop was Liyue because she's a Mondstadt citizen, and there she meets Xiao by chance, several times! And it eventually becomes a routine of Amory lowkey being an annoying little shit to Xiao but he tolerates it anyway despite constantly telling Amory how dangerous it is to hang around him and how she shouldn't get too close

Well, eventually Xiao says something that makes Amory completely back off from him and its lowkey like a break up and everyone in the wangshu inn know about it too (they were invested)

I designed Amory in a way that kinda resembles Lumine/Aether but also doesn't(?) But the reason for this was to fuel my delulu even if I see Xiao×Lumine/Xiao×Aether content by convincing myself that Xiao is reminded of Amory whenever he looks at the twins "do you get deja vu" style 😭 Like an ex he can't get over even though they were never really a thing 😭

Amos is having a lil sulk that he will be, at the pub, all alone, tomorrow. Cause Henry got an invitation to the press conference at home farm but Amos, THE JOURNALIST IN THE FAMILY HENRY, did not 😩

Oh Amos do not worry! Henry turned down the invitation! He knew you were upset so he's staying! In the pub! WITH YOU! despite being directly invited by the Tates!

..........oh you wont need... your invitation then.... Henry 🥺

But ALAS! The invitation is non-transferable. Not that Amos like... wanted it or anything 🙄😒
