As promised, here's my old yumeship art with Xiao ðŸ˜ðŸ«¶ their trope is a slowburn but in the sense that the ship is burning and eventually sinks before it could even sail 🫶 My self insert oc's name is Amory!
For context they meet when Amory isn't a vision holder yet, when Amory just began travelling teyvat as a novice adventurer. Her first stop was Liyue because she's a Mondstadt citizen, and there she meets Xiao by chance, several times! And it eventually becomes a routine of Amory lowkey being an annoying little shit to Xiao but he tolerates it anyway despite constantly telling Amory how dangerous it is to hang around him and how she shouldn't get too close
Well, eventually Xiao says something that makes Amory completely back off from him and its lowkey like a break up and everyone in the wangshu inn know about it too (they were invested)
I designed Amory in a way that kinda resembles Lumine/Aether but also doesn't(?) But the reason for this was to fuel my delulu even if I see Xiao×Lumine/Xiao×Aether content by convincing myself that Xiao is reminded of Amory whenever he looks at the twins "do you get deja vu" style 😠Like an ex he can't get over even though they were never really a thing ðŸ˜
