I updated my comic book lettering font Ames's site with links to some splendid comics that use the font! C: (Well, one of them is by me but um anyway)
I also wrote some Hot Tipz on choosing your settings in Adobe programs to make your comic lettering look even prettier! You can use the font without reading all that stuff but it's a thing that exists now anyway. I start spiraling into an abyss of despair at the end there about Photoshop but pay it no mind.
Ames and webcomic recommendations
It's been two years (wow, two years) since I made this comic book lettering font, Ames, as a thesis project and offered it to be used freely in comics. From time to time I come across it in a webcomic or a comic book and that makes me really happy! It's brilliant to see it in action and paired up with different art styles and stories.
Also, man, I'm honoured that it gets used in such good webcomics!! I thought I'd gather a few examples here of some that I've really enjoyed reading:

Also Kata's ballooning and lettering are really neat and pro and that's a weirdly specific thing for me to pay attention to but there it is

I like the worldbuilding and the vampire mythology in this a lot
The animals and monsters especially look fantastic
The main character is great, I'm very fond of her
