Did I ever mention how much I adore drawing feathers? Despite it being very slow and this being all the progress I have made in the last few days?!
Nearly done! I may have to pause on the final touches of this one as I discovered, to my horror, I don’t have another of my favourite white pencils - one of the only ones that can make decent highlights - and so I am about to do a art supplies order (Oh no, what a shame...)
Progress on the two robins. I do so love a British birb! American robin is starting to appear, this is a watercolour pencil wash to get some base colours in.

That grumpy face! Having a shot at doing a "fast" oil painting, less than 4 hours. (that's fast for me). I love the local white-tailed kites. Gorgeous, gorgeous birds. The red is the underpainting, but it's very cool!
