Perched Between Seasons
Just a couple of days ago I wrote about how I hadn’t seen any American robins (Turdus migratorius) around for a while. This morning, I spotted one perched in the top of a tall tree about 100 meters away.
Step into a world where even the smallest moments—like the glint in a bird's eye—tell their own story.

American Robin selects the wrinkly ,maybe fermented berry. Seneca village ,Central park.
Every December I do a robin based art piece, this (last!) year I wanted to show off both my own darling British robin, but also the American robin, which is common where I currently live, as an expat! ...we will ignore that it is February and not December. It’s been a busy couple of months!

It turned out to be a great morning for birding today! With migration season here, many interesting birds are visiting the Greenbelt. I heard a peculiar call, which I thought was an Oriole, but it turned out to be a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak! Still cool! I hope to get a good shot of an Oriole someday.
I saw 4 dead Robins along the road on my run yesterday. This is one just across the street from my house. I guess spring is here. ~ Matteo
