"Atrocious Chants" is a concept album that explores the figure of Satan through the lens of medieval Christian references, offering an alternative perspective that highlights the conflicts and devastation inflicted by religion on humanity. The lyrics are steeped in a Byzantine narrative surrounding the fall of Constantinople, contemplating the belief that this profound loss served as a divine punishment for a populace perceived as straying from true faith.
