Being an ambivert is so weird but also kind of awesome
Because like you’re not relatable, but you relate to everyone, and people don’t understand you, but you understand everyone. Ambiverts I feel are potentially the most like… emotional/empathetic types of people because they can really put themselves in other’s shoes regardless of introversion/extroversion
And they can be sort of the mediators in friend groups, like if there’s a lot of extroverts they can be the introvert to balance it out and vice versa.
Personally, I find that when I’m around extroverts, I tend to naturally act more introverted, while when I’m around introverts, I tend to naturally act more extroverted. My heart constantly screams “I’m an extrovert!” while my head constantly whispers “I’m an introvert.”
Take for example, my dynamic with my sister. She’s an introvert through a through, and usually leans on me for support in social situations where she doesn’t know what to do/where to go/what to say/how to act. And half of the time I’m able to offer that support. The other half of the time I’m hiding in my hoodie
