Surround yourself with people that are healthy and loving. As I have gotten older I have been through the maintenance and ending of relationships much like the rest of us. And with that has come the wisdom of knowing that having those around you that are supportive and help elevate you/want to see amazing outcomes for you is essential in finding your own happiness. I can’t explain why sometimes people will want to hurt you or hold you down out of jealousy, other than it’s their issue and you can’t own it. It’s important to make sure they don’t sabotage your happiness on purpose out of jealousy. We are all the writers of our own story and with it we dictate our own happiness. No one can crawl into your little head and force you to be happy or sad. Only you control your happiness and being around those who can joke, and play, laugh and love you, at ALL times, and want to see you grow and find success, those are the ones that will be key to you finding your truth and what will make you happy. For many of us happiness is a daily struggle, but it’s surrounding yourself with as many memories with these people in your lives that help you find who you really are and your value. You all deserve love and happiness. No one had the right to take that from you and it is up to you to shape it. - This lady right here is one of those people in my life.
