This is the second episode of Wonder Woman Season 1, originally aired on April 28, 1976. It is notable for introducing the red-white-and-blue, star-spangled cape and for being the first time Wonder Woman is impersonated on screen

The story centers on Fausta Grables (played by Lynda Day George), a German blonde spy and Olympic athlete who informs Nazi Intelligence Colonel Kesselman of Operation Frauline — a plan to capture Wonder Woman. Fausta travels to Washington, D.C., and kidnaps Major Steve Trevor to use as bait.

Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) receives a phone tip from Fausta, leading her to a warehouse where she defeats the thugs and uses her Lasso of Truth to locate Steve. Fausta then disguises herself as Wonder Woman at a War Bond rally. During a strength demonstration, Diana falls through a trapdoor and is chloroformed, revealing her weakness — her magic belt — to the N*zi operative.
