my AO3 will get updates and **seems** the least likely to be mod nuked but out of beta who knows. my other socials are fully updated in my A03 profile and anything I write goes there no matter what, usually within 24 hours for AMAU/SMAU, so I guess find me there for now?

Here's a snippet from my Club Moonlight AU, the next fic in the series, working title Xiaoge Gets Hurt. Xie Yuchen meets Liu Sang and it Doesn't Go Well.

Xie-ye hummed. “Your performance style is very different from that of the opera, but all forms of art should be appreciated.”  Liu Sang took a sip of his champagne and grit his teeth. He suspected the man was not intending to be insulting, “I agree, all art-forms certainly have their place, Xie-ye.” He cast about for another topic of conversation— usually he was better at this, he thought, but perhaps he was just out of practice in witty conversation with new companions. He opened his mouth for another salvo when Xie-ye placed his empty glass down on the end table with a quiet click.  “Liu Sang,” he said, and his voice was serious. “Have you heard from Wu Xie or Xiaoge lately?” Liu Sang blinked. “No,” he said honestly, caught off guard. Then, “They haven’t been at a performance in some time.”

And as a little bonus, from the AMAU, which is likely never to get written at this point.

dick - head curator and constantly grapples w the morality of his job. museums are fundamental in preserving and teaching about artistic expression but how many of these pieces were stolen?? are they hoarding wealth?? oh my god.......

nixon- director but does the bare minimum. idk if dick tells him its a good idea he does it. hates the board of trustees with a passion.

welsh - i bet he heads volunteer programs and internships. teaches the docents, organizes them, all that jazz. probably sneaks kitty into the archives and vaults. speirs yells at him for it

speirs - head of security. has no reason to be in the vaults but is always there. why are you there? please do your job.

lipton - curates decorative arts. lets speirs look at the silver and furniture. no you CANNOT touch it ron

luz - exhibition design!! likes colors. will spend an entire day looking at fonts. bothers the installation team.

the installation team is toye and guarnere. toye is EFFICIENT he gets the job DONE. guarnere makes fun of the art with luz.

babe - i think he’d be an archivist! idk just feel like hes probably really good at organization and stuff when its not his own shit. probably likes learning about art in a second hand manner but doesn’t want to like, do work about it.

roe - paintings conservator. regrets taking this job due to the anxiety it causes him (he loves it though). does 18+ hours of reasearch and thinks constantly about the consequences of fucking up. a mess.

renee - sculpture conservator. likes to say “oh fuck!” to scare eugene. once managed to save a sculpture that broke into a million tiny pieces. ever since then dick thinks that he owes her his life

webster - curates manuscripts or drawings or photographs. something like that. breaks protocol to read the books, then gets worried and takes it to conservation to make sure he didnt fuck it up

liebgott - security. gets immense pleasure out of going into roped off areas in front of visitors. likes to bother museum workers when they come into the galleries. hates when younger children are in the museum. not bc he hates kids they just make him so nervous. they will knock over a sculpture or get lost or get hurt please just calm down!!!!

Clexa political/arranged marriage AU

To defend Clarke from conspirators who would seek to claim Wanheda’s power for their own and to forge a permanent, unbreakable alliance between Skaikru and the Coalition, Lexa proposes a political marriage. Despite the vehement opposition of her mother and friends, Clarke agrees to the union because she’ll do anything to protect her people and bring them lasting peace, even if it means sharing her life—and a bed—with the person who betrayed her at Mount Weather. 

As a demonstration of her trust and sincerity about this being a relationship of equals, Lexa delegates significant duties to Clarke and s l o w l y they begin to grow closer as they work together, support one another, start to depend upon each other, and Clarke comes to see a different side of Lexa. A Lexa who is fair and considerate; by turns serious and subtly playful during her lessons with the nightbloods, but always patient with their questions; fiercely protective and demanding of respect for her spouse when she learns that Clarke’s authority is being undermined by the council of ambassadors, who view Wanheda as a mere trophy and a symbol of the Commander’s folly.

And while Clarke isn’t immune to the loaded glances and not-unwelcome casual touches that seem to occur with greater frequency as the months roll by, she’s wary of the stirrings of rekindled attraction. Can she really trust Lexa with her heart? Especially when there are forces inside and outside of Polis determined to drive them apart?
