I just realized that Blazblueās plot can be summed up in a simple exchange.
Fact of the day
In Ishana, there was a massive statue dedicated toĀ āThe Creatorā. Nine and Trinity prayed to it during the Dark War.
Terumi called it aĀ āGodā. Itās possible that the statue may be a representation of Amaterasu.
In the opening cutscene of CF we see that the Master Unit is empty, like is alluded to several times in Act 3 of arcade mode. However, when Ragna and Noel enter the Unit in the ending The Origin is present. If Amaterasu was supposedly empty throughout CF, why was it suddenly occupied after Terumi's death and how could it act in story mode (stripping Es of her guardian status, Observing Jin strike Ragna etc.) without someone there?
I wish I had an answer for this, but there really isnāt one as far as I know, although something may have been mentioned in Japanese. Iām sorry I was so late to answering this, and sorry I canāt give an answer. Itās not something I really understood in CF.

So, by the end of CentralFiction, does Noel Vermillion still have the powers associated with the Eye of the Azure, as the world Ragna has created will not be affected by the Amaterasu Unit or the Takamagahara System?
Itās unclear. There are some powers associated with being the Eye (such as being able to locate Amaterasu) that Noel shouldnāt lose, but others that she should (such as phenomenon intervention). Until something is officially confirmed, itās probably safe to bet that she kept some powers and lost others.
When Nine is explaining her hatred of the Master Unit in story mode, she mentions that it was too convenient that mankind could develop Ars Magus in one year, suggesting that Amaterasu was somehow responsible for it. But how exactly would the Master Unit be responsible for that when it didn't Intervene on the 100 year time loop?
This scene confuses me a little. Nine and Kokonoe both conclude that it shouldāve been impossible for her to develop Ars Magus and make it applicable for combat in such a short time, and Nine does seem to suggest that Amaterasu is somehow responsible for it being developed a lot more quickly.
But we know for a fact that Nine isnāt the sole reason for why Ars was so quickly developed. Terumi had a very large hand in its creation because he understood seithr and the Black Beast far better than anyone else. On top of this, Nine had already been researching the subject before the Dark War even began.Ā If anything, Terumi was the God who had intervened in the creation of Ars Magus, not Amaterasu.
could you explain the difference between prime field devices and murakumos? i was under the impression they were one and the same. as a followup could you explain what the deal with the origin is? like why does she look like saya, and therefore murakumos 11-13?
Prime Fields are lifeforms designed to enter the Boundary. There are 13 of them, from Alpha-1 to Nu-13. Theyāre not the same as a Murakumo Unit, of which there is only two - Kiiro Hikagami and Nu. Kiiro really hasnāt been explained too much so I wonāt talk about her, and Nu uses the Lux Sanctus: Murakumo Nox, which is why sheās called that.
Lambda is a Murakumo Unit imitation thanks to Kokonoeās upgrades, and Mu is a Kusanagi.
The Origin was the first Prime Field to go into the Boundary. She made contact with the Amaterasu Unit, and became an Eye of the Azure - she became an Observer, had gained a soul, and could create phenomenon interventions; basically, she was a God to humanity. Anyway, humanity didnāt like this, they got scared and started the Prime Field War. After The Origin recreated the world, each Prime Field would have a little part of The Originās soul within them.Ā
Anyway, one of these Prime Fields, known only as Number 5 (sheās not called Epsilon-5 in the game so Iām not calling her that), not only had a piece of The Originās soul, but she was also based off of a woman who could infinitely amplify seithr, but this woman was killed by her brother (itās hinted, but not confirmed, that this woman was Saya Terumi). Ragna, Jin, and Saya are all herĀ āchildrenā, but she was killed by Jubei a while ago. Saya inherited her ability to be able to amplify seithr, and also had a part of The Originās soul.
Lambda, Nu, and Mu were all based off of Saya. Lambda and Nu, despite having parts of The Originās soul, eventually became their own individuals. Mu had the largest part of The Originās soul because of the energy from the massive blast from Take-Mikazuchi. This part of the soul is basically Noel.
As to why Saya looks so similar to The Origin? Well, thatās not explained, but itās possibly because of the methods used to create her mother, Number 5, but Relius stated that he didnāt know how it was done. So right now itās a mystery, so I hope the unnecessarily complicated lowdown on The Origin is enough for now.
