Oh I gotta know Pietro’s and Bobby’s common argument now pleaseeee
Tbh?? I don't think they actually argue a whole lot once they're together! But initially it was mostly Bobby being upset with Pietro for his old bad habits, like thieving and being a jerk to people who didn't deserve it (like Ray), so I guess some morality stuff, and Bobby wasn’t afraid to call him out on his bad behavior. Bobby is the biggest Pietro simp, but even he has standards still and thinks Pietro is a better person than he acts sometimes. He gets upset because he believes in him. And Pietro ends up feeling like he wants to give a reason for Bobby to believe he can be better. That boy is a load bearing twink, if Bobby was gone I think Pietro would fall to pieces. 💀 Also some earlier arguments were about his internalized homophobia and having to unlearn that.
It seems a bit uneven with Pietro taking the brunt of criticism and that that would cause more friction, but I think Pietro is also aware of his often times shitty behavior. He knows Bobby is speaking out of a place of care for him, which is more than he can ask for with anyone else. Otherwise I think he'd be a lot more abrasive about any criticism.
If there's anything Pietro probably gets on Bobby for it's for him using mostly cold water all the time when he washes bc it just makes him colder and when he gets too cold in the bed in the winter esp and also takes the blanket with him (they might sleep with 2 separate blankets on the same bed for this reason). Really just minor things tho and he knows he can't really help it so he doesn't want to complain.... I feel if Bobby ever had any complaints about Pietro's powers it would be that he doesn't always sit and enjoy things enough, or you know, dealing with his farts while giant. Again, not anything he can overly help, but he's gonna complain anyway. I dunno, they have very old couple energy about how they deal with arguments, and even when it does explode a bit more (like in the "Not Unlike Him" fic I did), they'd resolve it rather quickly bc they would rather work things out than be angry with each other.
