SALAH satu pangeran keluarga kerajaan Arab Saudi, Pangeran Khaled bin Talal secara resmi mengumumkan meninggalnya putranya, Pangeran Alwaleed bin Khaled bin Talal, pada Sabtu (19/7/2025).
Pangeran Alwaleed meninggal pada usia 36 tahun, setelah mengalami koma selama hampir 20 tahu akibat kecelakaan mobil.
Pangeran Khaled menyatakan bahwa salat jenazah untuk putranya akan dilaksanakan pada Minggu di Masjid Imam Turki bin Abdullah di Riyadh, setelah salat Ashar.
Sementara Pangeran Alwaleed, yang dijuluki “Pangeran Tidur”, mengalami koma akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas di London pada 2005. Kecelakaan itu menyebabkan cedera parah dan pendarahan di otak. Sejak itu, ia tak pernah sadarkan diri.
