Being a pirate wasnât easy, honestly, it was hard being a female pirate! You docked your boat as you told your men it was time for a break, so, you stopped at The Great Inagua. âAlright boys, we sail in 3 days time!â You yelled before letting the pirates make their way to the bar and the women.
You sighed before making your way to the bar and taking a seat at a table, drinking a bottle of rum. You were tired and all the men werenât helping. âSettle down lads!â You heard a welsh accent speak. âGive the lass her space!âÂ
You looked up and saw that a man with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes was yelling at the pirates, telling them to stand down. You gave a small smile out the corner of your lips as he walked over and took a seat. âAye, Lass, you seem exhausted.â He spoke before chuckling. âIâm Edward Kenway, whatâs your name, Lass?â
âIâm Y/N L/N.. Youâre Captain Edward Kenway?â You asked, having heard of him, knowing he was a wanted man by the Templars.
âIndeed I am, Lass.â He smiled before waving a hand, earning a bottle of rum from a woman who you suspected was the Inn Keeper. âWhat brought you here?â
âMy men and I needed a place to stay until we sail out.. We are headed for Kingston.â You said before sipping your rum, you kinda wanted to remember your talk with Edward so you didnât get incredibly wasted.
âAh, well, youâre welcome to stay for as long as you like.. My men and I were actually sailing for Kingston too.â He gave a small smile before he heard a commotion.
You could tell he wasnât a ordinary pirate, he was something more.. Something.. An Assassin.. You could tell he was aware of his surroundings even when having a conversation. Edward had turned his head to look at what seemed to be his crew, he seemed to be making sure they didnât do anything stupid. Once he turned his head back, he grinned. âAye, Lass, you staying on your ship?â He asked, earning a nod from you.
âThe crew prefers it that way, plus I donât want my ship stolen.â You chuckled before finishing what was left in your bottle of rum. âSo, Captain Kenway, whatâs it like being the most wanted pirate?â You asked, grinning at him as you could tell you were starting to get a slight buzz.
âAye, itâs not all dark and gloomy days, yeah? My men and I keep a low profile, we arenât âspottedâ as much so the British Navy isnât always on our tails.â He smiled back and also finished whatever was in his bottle.
âAye, I understand what you mean, Kenway.â You smiled before hearing your crew yell your name.
You giggled and turned to see your men by a bonfire, drinking and having fun but what you noticed was that they were chanting for one of your crew members to chug two bottles of rum at once. âI better go Kenway, my men are going to die of liver failure.â You joked before turning back to Edward.
Edward smiled. âI hope to see you around tomorrow, Lass.âÂ
You nodded and rose from your seat. âAye, you will.â You winked before walking to the bonfire to keep control of your men in whom were acting like children.Â
