She projects her grief for Silco onto him and tries to mold Viktor in his image, keeping her life and situation in Zaun as they were before Silco's death. This, of course, fails because, well, Viktor is his own person.

Meanwhile, Viktor also seeks in her a replacement for something he once had, although this is less clearly expressed. During the timeskip between acts one and two of S1, he became, and still remains, a man completely absorbed in his work at the lab, who could not care less about matters of reputation, organization, resources, and the like. This part was previously handled by Jayce mostly, and now by Sevika. Viktor values ​​her help and initiative, and owes almost everything he has gained in Zaun to her and Singed, but due to him subconsciously slightly associating her with Jayce (whom he resents by this point) and her connection to the criminal network that controlled Zaun, he is quite cold towards her.

I originally planned to make their storyline more defined and dramatic, but there wasn't room for it in the plot outline I had constructed, so it's touched on more subtly. Perhaps I could have expanded on this if I'd written a full detailed version of my writing, but now that won't happen anytime soon anyway.

Between the end of ep4 and the beginning of ep5, there's a timeskip (a month or a few, during which the enforcer raids with the grey occured). Viktor has settled down to live and work in the destroyed Silco's factory from S1, where he's begun producing mechanical gadgets, healing people, and (reluctantly) partially revived shimmer production for the sake of experimenting with hexcore and generating income. He benefits from his criminal connections but still clings to his morality and use of the core's biomagic (as opposed to the fact that by the finale, he'll have nearly-completely embraced mechanics). This, along with his conflicted relationship with Sevika, is reflected in the first prosthetic arm he created for her (picture above). It combines mechanics and healing with hexcore, because Viktor is in the process of switching from one tech to another. It's uncharacteristically bright, shiny, and smooth, because he's obsessed with being good and his personal ideas of "fixing" and "improving" things. It's designed for everyday life, not combat, unlike what Sevika is used to, because Viktor puts his opinions and ideals above Sevika's interests.

This is also partly why I didn't make the top of her outfit particularly detailed: it's mostly hidden by her cape most of the time because she doesn't really like that arm, and because she doesn't engage in actual combat very often anymore (at least not onscreen), instead managing Silco's old assets to keep them afloat herself or hand them over to Viktor.
