now dont get me wrong i dont like mischaracterization/flanderization either way but i must say when it comes to Tenna i MUCH prefer when fanworks focus on his toxic manipulative side than his victimhood or innocence. i feel like much much too often hes babified or woobified and treated like an innocent little cinnamon roll who can do no wrong and is just a victim of circumstance. and yeah while making him this evil villain isnt right either i find it usually explores his complexities and his thoughts-vs-actions in a deeper way than just calling him an innocent little baby
