one thing i’ve noticed about neurotypical people who give a lot of support to neurodivergent people is that they really can’t recognize when their peers are ND.

like ?? i had a great conversation with a girl in my class about how much the system screws over people in special ed classes but she has the exact same bias as ableist people do against one of my ND friends.

everyone singles out people like that as annoying or weird because they don’t fit completely into either category.
