I Need You For The Night - A Bobbi/Mack fanfic
Characters: Bobbi Morse, Alphonso Mackenzie, Daisy Johnson, Lance Hunter
Rating: Gen
Summary: Lance invites Bobbi to his wedding to Daisy but she doesn't want to go along so she asks Mack to go with her as her pretend boyfriend. It works out better than expected.
The envelope was just sitting there innocently on her counter but Bobbi couldn’t help staring at it, regardless. She knew what was inside and what it was for even though she hasn’t opened it yet.
A knock at her door broke the staring contest.
She crossed her apartment to her front door and opened it, smiling when she saw her favorite neighbor standing on the other side.
“Hey Mack. What’s up?”
“Hi Barbara.”
She rolled her eyes at him.
“Looks like the mailman messed up and gave me some of your mail by mistake.”
Mack held out several envelops for her to take which she did.
“Thanks. Do you want to come in? I just put some coffee on.”
“Sure, Bobbi.”
She moved out of the way so he could enter her apartment then made her way to the kitchen.
Placing the mail down on the counter to look at it later, Bobbi grabbed two coffee mugs and put them down near the coffee machine to wait until the coffee was down brewing.
“Hey Bobbi, what’s that?”
Mack spotted the fancy looking envelope she had been staring at earlier, sitting on her counter.
“Oh that? It’s an invitation to Hunter’s wedding?”
“He actually went through with it and invited you?”
We can Make It Like a Fairytale Chapter 3
Characters: Daisy Johnson, Bobbi Morse, Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie
Rating: Teen and Up
Chapter Summary: Daisy wants to know why Bobbi changed her mind in helping the princess and gets a lot more than she bargained for.
Warnings: Gambling mention, implied sexual contact
“You told Mack that the queen who took over your kingdom is named Raina and I realized that that is the same woman who forced my true love to marry her. So we could kill two birds with one stone; you can get your kingdom back and I can get my Lance back.”
Daisy nodded her head because it made a lot of sense to her.
“So he’s your true love? How did the two of you meet?”
“We met at my first major tournament, it was pretty exciting. People weren’t expecting me to do so well because I am a woman and was pretty young at the time.”
Mack laughed.
“Seeing people’s faces when Bobbi won was my favorite thing about the tournament.”
Bobbi sent him a look that Daisy couldn’t understand.
“So you know how a tournament works right?”
Daisy nodded; her parents hosted many a tournament which she attended.
“I was winning my way through the tournament when Lance decided to place a bet on me to win the whole thing. Even though I was doing great, I was the long shot but he didn’t seem to care.”
Mack met Daisy’s gaze.
“At the time, he was a mercenary who was only into things for the money.”
Bobbi frowned.
“You make him sound worse than he is and was.”
Mack shrugged.
“Just telling it like it is, Barbara.”

On a light(ish) note, the episode also allows Mack to earn A+ marks as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Which is not to say that everything goes right — far, far from it. But Mack’s decisiveness, bravery, and selflessness probably make him one of the best leaders the organization has ever had — and it’s only his first day. Mack believes in his agents in a way that Coulson has struggled to do since season 2; everyone from Daisy to cinnamon-roll newbie Joey shines under his leadership.

Prompt 60: A Fresh Start
Several months had passed since the blow up with the two Shields and the Inhumans and Fitz felt like things were finally calming down.
“Hey Turbo, what’s goin’ on?”
Fitz smiled at Mack and couldn’t help feeling happy when he say the smile returned.
He was hoping that this could be a fresh start for them, now that everything was in the open.
“Nothing exciting.”
Mack smirked.
“Guess I’ll have to change that then.”
Before Fitz could say anything, Mack was kissing him.
He leaned into Mack as he returned the kiss.
Yes, this was a fresh start for them.

An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
I have finished my Fitzmack multi-chapter fanfic and I’m really excited. Just in time for Fitzmack Friday too.
Fluffy prompt: Fitzmack (rrrromantic): Fitz tries to get Mack interested in weather-watching. Thanks!
“Come on, Mack. It’s a great time if you just gave ita shot.”
Fitz couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t want to comejoin Fitz in weather watching.
“Do I look like a meteorologist, Turbo?”
He didn’t get his boyfriend’s whole interest in theweather because he was an engineer but it was one of those little quirks Fitzhad.
Fitz rolled his eyes.
“A bit of fresh air and sunlight would do you somegood, Mack.”
Mack quirked an eyebrow at Fitz.
“This wouldn’t be an excuse to see me shirtless, wouldit?”
The unexpected question caused Fitz’ jaw to drop openbecause that thought hadn’t crossed his mind but now that the image was inthere, he couldn’t stop thinking about it.
“That’s not—I don’t know where you would get theidea I would do something so unscrupulous.”
Mack just stared at him.
Crossing his arms, Fitz huffed.
“Is it so bad that I want to share something I enjoywith someone I lo-care about?”
Oh boy, he almost let the cat out of the bag.
“Alright Turbo, I’ll join you. Is there anything youneed to get?”
Mack figured that there wasn’t anything to lose bygoing with Fitz and he would get to spend some quality time with his boyfriendwhich had been lacking lately.
It took Fitz a few moments to get over hisembarrassment and realize what Mack said.
“Fantastic. Come along, Mack. I have everything setup.”
The two men left the garage and headed up to the roofof the Playground.
Mack looked around and didn’t see any of the equipmentthat he assumed Fitz used when checking the weather.
Ignoring the question on Mack’s face, Fitz led the wayto the area he set up.
He had borroweda few pillows and blankets where were on the ground with a tablet and a camera.
“Uh, what is all of this Turbo?”
“It’s what I use to study the clouds.”
Fitz had already made himself comfortable while Mackwas processing everything.
“Okay….”
Seeing his boyfriend gesturing for him to come joinhim, Mack did as he was told.
It wasn’t easy fitting them both comfortably on theblanket.
“So…now what?”
Fitz looked over at Mack then pointed up at the sky.
“Look up at the sky and see what you can see in the clouds.”
Mack opened his mouth to say something but closed itand got comfortable on the blanket and did as he was instructed.
“By the way, Turbo….I love you too.”
