Imagine being Daniel Sousa and going from crushing on Peggy, to traveling across the country to get away from her and getting engaged to some random nurse, to that nurse realizing you're still in love with Peggy and breaking things off, to briefly having a thing with Peggy, to that ending too, and then randomly SOME PEOPLE FROM THE FUCKING FUTURE APPEAR TO SAVE YOUR LIFE and you get romantically adopted by some random half-asian woman who's powers are comparable to a GODDAMN EARTHQUAKE.
Oh also now you're traveling the stars with that same women when you lived your entire life up to that point predating the moon landing.
So last year, I wrote and published a Dousy fic (my second ever and first for aos) in honor of the 4th anniversary of As I Have Always Been. I was inspired upon watching the Marvel’s Slingshot web series about Yo-Yo, when a connection between something that occurs in the little series and something from the final season became clear. And given this series came out a few years BEFORE the 7th was even written, my fangirl self may or may not have giggled at upon coming to the realization. Thus, this little one-shot was born. And in honor of the 5th anniversary of the episode and for Dousy Appreciation Week: Day 4 - Stories, I (attempted) to create my first real Tumblr post and GIF set to celebrate. I’ve also included a link for my silly little fic, for anyone that does seem interested in reading it.
