The crisis within the European Union goes forward at a steady gait as the EU`s basic ideas have always been a destructive time-bomb. Military aggression Russian Federation against Ukraine, the struggle between the Syrian coalition and IS and, finally, "the refugee issue" have become catalysts for this phenomenon. Over the past 2 years, the EU has shown its inefficiency. Excessive bureacracy, ignoring the interests of Central and Eastern Europe as a part of the EU, weakness in the face of such challenges as the global terrorism, political and economic expanssion of Russian Federation, depopulation and population ageing - these are the main features of the EU crisis as a geopolitical unit
