Allain's wardrobe
Some personal art, I just wanted to draw Allain again. This was also good practice for drawing and rendering clothes! References panel 1 - panel 2 - panel 3

Day 14: Who/What Inspired Your OC?
Tulip: Inspired by a poem I made for a daily challenge last year. The poem is about a machine being experimented on with no regard to its personhood (other image is for scale). I later asked myself "what if this robot had a better life" and of course that led to it being disposed of, buried for hundreds of years, and being dug up in a new world. Her design is the general design that I usually play off of with my humanoid robot characters. Blank eyes, long limbs, "off" proportions, etc.
Wolfram: Inspired by the sterotypical protagonist for an RPG, but past his prime. He was once young, scrappy, brave, and charmingly dumb. He's changed since then, but he still lives in the "good ol days". His design is, weirdly enough, inspired by a character from a turn based strategy game from the PSP that I saw my old roomie playing once.
Allain: Inspired by two things: One, wouldn't it be cool if I had a punk/anarchist character? And two, wouldn't it be cool if I had a chemist character? Well now I do! I need to develop her more. Design is inspired by french WW1 uniforms with a dose of Isn't It Cool When Guys Have Loads of Equipment Strapped Onto Them (Jon Lee from Feeder for scale).
Bibigul: Originally a "fuck idk there are plains here what if i had a nomadic archer in the party" that quickly turned into what she is now when my bestie offhandedly said some books I picked up looked like spelltomes. Now shes a wizard and shit. Design wise, I have no idea what do with her. I want to give off that "non-physical fighter, carries loads of books" thing and get across that whole "kind of a wizard but something else is going on too" thing as well without making her look goofy as fuck. And thats hard.
Ezequiel: I wanted a cowboy character, because I thought it would be cool. And then I thought "What if that cowboy was also a priest" and my brain exploded and Ezequiel crawled out of the mush. He's a gunslinger and a rough fighter who has taken a vow of blindness and is being guided by the god of darkness. He's so cool I love him. Design-wise, I'm basing his vibe, body shape, etc. on Grit from Advance Wars.
