Essentially, in this AU, DT comes from a planet that isn't Etheria and landed there after escaping their home world as it was invaded by Horde Prime. The events that led up to this were nothing short of horrific.

DT's species of adaptable shapeshifters and mimics were no match in might for Horde Prime's army. In an effort to strengthen their defenses and prioritize their soldiers, the government issued mandatory organ donations and surgical procedures, forcing the citizens to give their body parts to injured soldiers. This is why Alien DT is missing their digestive system and uses a less-effective method that vaporizes the food and transfers the molecules into their system via technology.

When their population startled rapidly dwindling, the powers in charge realized they had no hope to defeat the clone army, so instead, they did what shapeshifters know best. They copied.

Thus, the citizens were pulled into another invasive, forced surgery, this one giving them the constant desire to breed. The species could already incubate their eggs in other lifeforms, similar to Xenomorphs, but now with the ever-present urge to do so constantly? They became a scourge on other planets, carrying out a silent invasion that sought not to take over with war, but by increasing their numbers and leading to the deaths of their hosts.

Their most frequent hosts are the clones themselves as a way of taking them down. They had to abandon their planet, but their numbers increased on other worlds. They are hated and feared across galaxies for their strange and cruel ways.

Alien DT, like the rest of their species, was subject to this surgery. Though the urge to reproduce isn't uncontrollable, it's a constant instinct in the back of their mind that they have to fight. They have laid eggs in hosts before, and will do it again, but they're kept in check by the Horde and Rebellion. They feel the urge most strongly around Horde Prime's clones and have killed several.

Other fun facts about Alien DT:

They speak another language, but use an automatic translator to communicate, which gives their voice a robotic effect.

They can't shapeshift their technological implants, only their actual flesh, so their ability to replicate other people is limited by how well they can disguise their cyborg attributes. They hate this the most about the procedures they were forced to undergo, as it nearly ruined their espionage career and impacted their most valued trait.

Speaking of implants, Alien DT's breasts are laser-gun-implants (this is me being silly; Teddy and I came up with it as a joke). They can shoot people with lasers from their chest as a last resort if their ray gun is taken. Anyone unlucky enough to see Alien DT topless will see the tips of laser guns protruding from their chest shortly before being shot. The trigger mechanism is thought-wave-operated, so Alien DT only has to think about using them to fire them. Gotta love advanced science.

Alien DT can open their mandible like the alien from Predator.
