40. Who do they trust most? Is that trust mutual?

Khadira easily trusts Tal Hardin, her padawan of five years, the most. He is like a son to her and though she struggles to admit it, that’s the way it is. Although despite their bond, there are something Khadira could never tell Tal that she could only tell her highest ranking officers. The trust is most definitely mutual, Tal idolises Khadira and dotes on her beyond mere words. She’s the closest thing he’s ever had to a mother. They would both go to the ends of the galaxy for each other and still have time for ice cream afterwards.

63. What is always guaranteed to make them smile?

Khadira may be Chiss, known to be cool, calculating and scarily serious, but she has her moments. And the easiest way to make her smile without failure, is subtle actions of affection. Finding handwritten post-its in her office (no doubt left by her troops and fellow Jedi), seeing others draping blankets and robes over cold friends and of course laughter in the crèches. It reminds her why she keeps fighting and why, despite everything that’s been thrown at her, she has to see everything through until the end.

1. Star Wars Rebels — I will defend this show with my life, I love it to hell and back and will say that the story is one of the best. The characters grow on you so quickly and you grow with them too! The art style is different but you get used to it soon enough. Season one might be slow and filler ahoy (great filler if I may add), but once you get to season two, oh my god this show is amazing.

2. Star Wars: TCW — Of course this a close second, this show is absolutely incredible and I will not elaborate further.

3. Shameless UK — As someone from the UK, this is the version I grew up with, which is shockingly so much more different from the US ver. Anyways, I feel like this one is a blunt perfect show of under-privileged English humour and as someone who also grew up in a money-strained household, I can say that this show portrays that lifestyle amazingly. It’s hilarious and gritty and the humour might be hard for anyone who isn’t British to understand.

4. Breaking Bad — I will never not recommend this show if you haven’t seen it already. This one shaped TV imo. Alongside this, I would recommend watching Better Call Saul after watching BB. Back-to-back, these series are dark, intense but so captivating. Count BCS as 4.5!

5. Our Planet — Bahaha, OK technically this shouldn’t count but this documentary series has helped me sleep so many times over but I always end up getting into watching it instead of sleeping. Sir David Attenborough is a national treasure and if you like animal documentaries, that’s the one to go for.

2. Favourite part of writing.

This one is easy for me. When you suddenly get struck by inspiration and all you can do is write away and then it turns out you’ve written over 5k in the span of a few hours. I love the random bouts of inspiration that drag you out of any writer’s blocks you’ve been stuck in. Those are the parts of writing I treasure the most.

15. Where does your inspiration come from?

A lot of my inspiration comes from reading others’ works, be it fanfiction or physical books. Though I will say that reading books does get me in the mood to write instantly. I use my real life experiences to write real dialogue and dynamics, or at least write situations and relationships I wish I had. I’ve been writing things from year 4 in school and I’ve had no regrets at all.

30. Favourite line you've ever written.

As of recent, probably this from my unfinished fic:

Eyes fluttering shut, Ahsoka began to meditate, lightly at first, but a few moments passed and she was already in deep thought. She had not been ignoring meditation, Ahsoka made it a vow to perform it once per day. She wasn't running from her demons anymore and learned to embrace them, for if she didn't, she’d be alone.

I had to go on a good hunt for that one, but that end line is hauntingly beautiful to me. There’s probably a million more lines that I love, but hunting them down would be a challenge within itself.
