I have... no clue how much notice this is actually gonna get, but also I'm kind curious for data collection. I have a scifi story I'm working on and was wondering which of these sounds interesting for the main character's species? Struggling to decide so with zero context pick whichever sounds neat to you. (I based a lot of them off Earth creatures because its a good baseline but also they aren't straight up one to one in terms of things. You only get a LITTLE bit of lore but if asked about any of them I'll elaborate. :'D)

speaking of malenia eating ice. i think scarlet rot also causes various other issues that aren't just. yknow. Rotting. like anemia, chronic nausea/stomach issues, probably issues with blood clotting as well... like obviously it Kills You Dead very fast if you aren't a demigod, so imagine being like. functionally immortal yet also terminally ill. malenia is almost certainly always in some sort of pain even when her rot is subdued. like gameplay-wise scarlet rot is equivalent to toxic in the other fromsoft games, which is just stronger deadlier poison.

millicent also implies that the rot causes nightmares, so sleeping to get away from the constant pain isn't an option either. basically; malenia is the coolest elden ring character because she is Undefeated in combat while being functionally terminally ill, physically disabled and with chronic pain. and poison blood. cant forget that !

anyways tldr malenia is the best character in elden ring (in my opinion) and is also definitely the strongest, at least mentally. this post had a point other than malenia but i mean look at my blog. it all comes back to her in the end..............
