Last time I was here we were going through Aleigha's old jewelry box and untangling the huge knot of necklaces from it, and one of them was a friendship necklace with Pooh on it. I said "I think I might have the other half of that" and true enough, I looked in my own jewelry box from childhood (the same one as hers cause it was one of those matching things) and found the other necklace with Piglet on it. My mom, sister and I are staying tonight in Va beach on our way to Florida so I showed my aunt and uncle the necklace and we reunited the pieces. Wearing two sides of a friendship necklace is terribly sad. It says "I had a best friend but I lost her." Or else "I'm my own best friend I'm really lonely help me" lol

there was a moment today i was thinking a lot of aleigha and it was just big and heavy and hard to deal with and my mom and i were just arguing about whether i’d rather not be involved in this wedding at all and she mentioned aleigha who i wasn’t even thinking about but now i am and it made me cry. i’ll never see her get married and have children and grow old. she’ll never see me get married and have children and grow old. maybe i don’t want to either.
