Alan/Master: Meeting A New Friend
The Master was on his way into town, looking out for a certain watch shop. He had never really been there, probably walked past it but never noticed it. Why would he care for a watch shop anyway? He had recieved Alan's e-mail just some minutes ago. It came late, but he had been ready to leave, so all it took was to grab his keys and coat, and he'd still reach the location in time. He had taken the bus as he really didn't feel like walking anymore after yesterday. He looked trustworthy, friendly, helpful. The ordinary man, Jason Miller. Perfectly disguised. He didn't wear one of his usual suits though since this wasn't a formal meeting. His worn out eyes may have been the only thing that didn't fit into the image, but even those were explainable with him being a hard-working Scotland Yard detective. He slipped his hand into the pocket of his jacket, feeling the cold silver watch. Letting his fingers slide across the engraving. What would he tell Alan? He didn't want him to open the watch yet. He first wanted to get to know him, make sure wether he was a threat or not. Befriend him and gain his trust. Then let him open the watch, witness his awakening, find out who he used to be before anybody else did. Find out how he got here, where his TARDIS was, who his relatives were. If he knew anything about the time war and how he'd escaped. The bus stopped and the Master got off, walking the few streets he had memorized from google earth. Google earth was quite a nice thing, providing the point of view of the earth he used to have when seeing it from far away, so far away, inside his TARDIS. It had been years since he had his own TARDIS. Too bad this google thing couldn't show any other planets. Underdeveloped ape technology. From a distance he could see the logo of Spencer's, and a boy standing in front of the shop. The Master checked his watch to see if he was late, but he had made it just in time. He started waving at Alan as he walked towards him.
