my truth is that it is perfectly plausible that dan has changed his mind on marriage (or civil partnership which could be more their style) since hard launching.
being secret about his relationship could have been the main thing putting him off (obviously because hiding that and being quiet about the fact he married the love of his life would be stupidly hard). its very possible he didn't realise this was the main thing behind his marriage aversion, and now that he doesn't have that restriction he is like huh this pharriage thing might not be so bad now that the relationship is out in the open. this would explain the quick turn around from him saying he wasn't interested in marriage to him talking about it weekly. idk one thing is for certain he definitely has marriage on the mind because he keeps bringing it up š
honestly at this rate arc-v might be topping zexal as my favourite yu gi oh anime....

Friendly reminders;
You donāt suck at your passion.
Weāre all learning all the time, even the āprofessionalsā.
Itās hard not to, I know, but donāt compare your work against other peopleās with thoughts like āTheyāre better.ā Taking inspiration? Beautiful. Learning from others through observation? Amazing. But saying you are peon against a royal? Nah bruh. We all are running at our own paces and all have something amazing to share.
If it is a bad creative day, trying eating a little food and drinking water. Itās also ok to go do something completely different. Sometimes your brain needs a video game session. You arenāt lazy for doing that.
Create for yourself first, others second. ā¤ļø
Someoneās probably already made this post but being autistic just feels like being a muppet
Rereading the Rithmatist! Been years since I read it but boy am I remembering why I enjoyed it! All the world building bits (Aztec Federation, Joseun Empire, America as an Archipelago? Springwork?) and of courseā¦.the magic system. Some bits of it I donāt get (mainly the points of circles thing?) but man do I find it fascinating!
Characters are excellent! I love Joel and Melody (though must admit I blanked on their names before rereading it :( ). And I think Professor Fitch might be my favorite fictional teacher ever? At presentā¦to my recollectionā¦in an academic setting. Side note? If I had a nickel for every time I read a book or thought of one set in the early 1900s (20th century and all. By the way was a specific year mentioned? If it was havenāt gotten there yet) thatās likeā¦4 nickels! The Rithmatist, The Magicianās Daughter, Here there be Dragons of the Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica and Leviathanā¦.hmmmā¦Rithmatist and Leviathanā¦..hmmm something to ponder.
Hereās hoping a sequel happensā¦.eventually. Dude writes a lot of books from what I understand (have only read Rithmatist and The Frugal Wizardās guide to surviving Medieval England, which I also quite enjoyed!) but I can wait. Many other books to read in the meantime. Go read it if you havenāt. I canāt speak for how it stacks up with Sandersonās more well known stuffā¦.but I quite enjoyed it! And am quite enjoying my reread. Should probably finish it by tomorrow or soā¦we shall see. Can be annoyingly slow at readingā¦.but I digress.
Make of this what you will,
AL, The Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming.
