In my culture in Alaska we have a native dish called Agutak or Akutaq -- which basically translates to 'mixture' or "mixed things'. The traditional way to prepare it was with gathered berries, roots, greens, dried fish,seal oil and/or animal fat. Now, it's mostly made exclusively with berries, sugar and crisco. I like to rawify mine with a mashed banana, tundra berries, wild greens (or baby spinach) and stevia. -R&R

I wish I could send some to Cat and a few of my friends, but a huge bowl's gonna be gone in a matter of hours and it'll probably spoil since they are all in Vegas. xD
Found some berries in the back of the freezer from when our family went berry picking out in the tundra last year. Decided to make some akutaq, or Eskimo ice cream. Favorite dessert in my opinion. Man, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
