Knox could've felt like he was used to these antics, but he couldn't be more wrong. Silent and casting a hard stare down at Shoichi before his brow raised at his implications - yet unsure of what to expect from his mouth, knowing how quick Shoichi can go from zero to a hundred.

But once Shoichi made it known, the serpentine scoffed, his own hands coming up to shield his chest with both forearms as if he was naked now.

No doubt it was of her biggest concern, mind how fast he blitzed to take care of himself - yet even then, there was a cautionary take when she wanted to go check on him. Just as soon as she was aiming to announce her presence, the sudden slam of the door startled her with a jolt - almost as harsh as a startled cat while she got a small bit of air time from the tiny leap. A small breath of shock, by a hand that cupped over her chest, huffed out a few incoherent words on the spot before cutting the small few feet to the door now. But a brushing stop, Josiah leaned in a little bit with a few small knocks after the passing faintness of words - she hadn’t heeded them and didn’t plan to.

“Are you alright in there, Valerie? Did the food make you unwell?” Her head turned, pressing her ear to the door now with curious silence - albeit a hand, as any normal means when someone closed the door, grasped the knob with a small twist to see if it was unlocked or not. 

Again, late on getting this posted. Work takes a lot of my time and also means these lists get shorter, which helps me out a bit lol. Anyways, here are the honorable mentions.

Banks - Gimme

This song goes in. It's full of so much energy and is just so much fun to jam to. I wish I had a good sound system to blast this on. It would make my jam sessions to it that much better.

Not Enough - Sinner

I love the atmospheric nature of this track. It's so mellow, but still packs a punch with those guitars and the metalcore style screams. And I just absolutely adore the cleans. The cleans are everything and so beautiful.

Emphasis - 70.1% Leviathans

I rekindled my love for this track out of nowhere because it was stuck in my head for a couple of days. It's such a beautiful track and is super proggy. And who can say no to saxophone solos in metal?

New Years Day - Come for Me

Ash's voice just keeps getting better and better. This track is so much fun and full of bombastic energy. The chorus is super catchy and that scream she lets out during the bridge is so epic. The bridge in general is epic.

Akphaezya - The Secret f Time

These guys are the closest we're ever going to get to having an avant-garde metal band as bizarre and epic like Unexpect. The genre shifts and the strange vocal lines are absolutely amazing. When it comes to this genre, the weirder the better in my opinion, and these guys are definitely weird.

Aly & AJ - Church

Who told them to make a song this iconic and amazing? I can't get over how epic and amazing this track is. I need to hurry up and listen to the Sanctuary EP, because they're icons now that need to be worshiped and praised.

This song is really good and also the whole album is written like a Greek tragedy (hence the fact the lyrics are literally written in play script style with the names of the characters.) It’s after Sor’s father dies.

It was none of his business - often he was stuck in his own set of staying out of others so long as they done the same for him. But in this case... It almost looked like it required him to be useful for once, although at the integrity of Shoichi's clothing and potentially his flesh when Lios didn't shy off from clasping his hand around the individual's bicep. Non-verbal, using his obnoxious height to his advantage, his other hand clamped around Shoichi's freed arm before semi lifting him - acting to make a bit more cautionary distance between the grimoire that fallen to the floor, as he himself was uncertain of the contents and whatever on those pages entailed...

Unfortunately for Shoichi’s rage fit, Niklaus was having none of it - especially since as well... He didn’t want him to get in trouble either, and the twin’s resolve was there on his face. Not even considering the others, or one that was probably inches away from a bludgeoning and left them to recover on their own with the sheer confusion. Niklaus only glared back at him in return, although only in the slights did he catch only briefness to the look on his face. Niklaus would rather get him out of the room before anything bad happens - despite the backlash, he didn’t answer his question.

“Let’s go. We’re leaving.” He stated firmly, not even aware of how bad thing’s could’ve truly got if he hadn’t stepped in. Whether or not he still had the walking cane in hand, Niklaus pulled his weight along with him and backed it for the door. There was only as sliver lining as Shoichi got. He obvious didn’t want the person who helped him awhile back to suffer dumb consequences or get boxed over violence. 

When Niklaus got more towards the door, he chimed in, ignoring the familiar gaze and the latter.  “No, I’m not his bodyguard, either. Talk about great timing, but let’s not get put in a box if it can be helped.” Niklaus’ grip loosened up with some consideration, but more than ready to react and  keep tight if he thought that was his chance to move.

Knox had no idea how he even ended up in this situation, but all he knew was he was getting a bit of pay and he was going to be off post duty for the small while. Could be pull it off? It wasn’t like he was trying to be too harsh and mean about it, he had poor control to some degrees but to say the least he didn’t want the cameras on him for very long either despite his stability right now. The look on his face wasn’t budging at all even after his rough handling but behind his eyes still read sorry since it looked a bit too rough. He was just a mere goon by this point. Yet as soon as he opened his mouth and went off the defiance, Knox hadn’t budged regardless from his own defiance but his features flinched from the uncalled for rebuttal.

Although now that it was her turn to listen while he explained, it was more along the lines of a solid bonk over the head once he started to hit the nails with the opinion hammer - enough so that the seemingly negative response served to flick the lids off the steam caps in her head. Josiah slowly brought her hands to her cheeks, squishing over the flush pudge with a small grunt while her frame slumped move over. Until they’d fallen at the same time to hide snug between her thighs where they were squished under the timid weight. “Well... c-could be looked at like--that. Though I didn’t really think about how that’d look. I’ve been... to both, alone. But they usually would be places meant for two over one. They are pretty nice though aside from that-” 

Josiah craned her head, overlooking her side of the space - albeit she didn’t have much going for her besides a drink she’d rather not burn through. “The tanks can be really pretty to look at especially the bio areas when it’s dark and everything glows, and skating is nice if you don’t mind the occasional chill- m-maybe we can.” Her frame settled back in her seat a bit with a small chuckle, but posed to the question, Josiah’s head nodded without much a thought or hesitation.

“I’d be happy to go to the mall, I’m open to really anytime. Maybe we can check it out, and see if it’s up and open then if they are. Th-there’s no rush though, you aren’t obligated to afterall.”
