I’ve never seen Josephine take the lead in a poll that fast—, nd by that wide a margin. But yeah, I think so too. Having OCD in a timeloop is already a brutal combo. But here’s the thing...
The loop would be of her own making.
Not a cosmic interferences, not a law gone wrong, not a cruel trick of fate.
Just another laboratory experiment. A machine designed to bend what she considers a false law, picking at the concept enforced around her.
A clean click when it powers on. And then- shrapnel. A loud ringing of noise. An explosion where there should’ve been precision.
She doesn’t think much of it at first. Another failure. Another long day spent picking up the pieces, recalibrating, spiraling quietly through what she must have miscalculated. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Until the day resets.
Back to the moment the machine first activated.
She'd clue in right away, of course, no confusion, no misunderstanding. She'd know the machine had to have something to do with it. Josephine believes she has to fix it, time and time spent trying to figure out where she went wrong, diving into other research of her own, eventually, desperatley, going through others notes.
She thinks she's the only one capable of fixing it, and when that proves sour, she'd start to doubt things ever changing at all. all because of a mistake..
Because perhaps it can't change, until she brings other people into the story.
