Thought you might be interested in this just to show how versatile the Airfusion Elite is…I took it on a helicopter to Diomede in Alaska and then kayaked along the US Russia border / international date line last Tuesday. The kayak was exceptionally stable in the surf and very quick against some of the most treacherous currents in the world.

An Inflatable Kayak Design Unlike Any Other

An inflatable kayak unlike any other on the water, the AirFusion EVO’s design utilizes drop-stitch technology for the main air chambers, low-pressure air thwarts to build out the structure, a polyurethane outer skin, and an aluminum keel frame all to provide a high-performance kayak.

As shown in Advanced Elements’ inflatable stand-up paddleboards, drop-stitch technology allows AE’s designers to create high-pressure forms that are extremely rigid while the low-pressure air thwarts replace bulky frame parts that are typically used in skin-on-frame kayaks. Meanwhile, the aluminum keel frame creates a V-shaped hull for superior tracking while the polyurethane outer skin creates a hydrodynamic surface for enhanced glide through the water.

Unlike other kayaks that utilize drop-stitch materials, the AirFusion EVO is also fully decked and skirtable for adverse conditions making it a high-performance kayak ready for any trip. At 13 feet long, with a narrow beam and drop-stitch technology, the AirFusion EVO is a quick and nimble kayak that tracks like a rigid hard-shell.

The AirFusion ™ Kayak is designed to rival the performance and speed of skin-on-frame kayaks while simplifying the setup procedure. Its unique design is a fusion of aluminum alloy frame poles and pressurized air tubes which result in a high performance frame system. What makes the AirFusion ™ Kayak different is the introduction of high pressure air chambers which reduce the amount of frame parts typically needed for setup.
