It's easy and quick to bake a chiffon cake in an air fryer. It will amaze you how well it works! This fluffy, light cake is great for any event.
Ingredients: 4 large eggs. 1 cup cake flour. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1/4 cup water. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp cream of tartar. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. A pinch of salt.
Instructions: Put the egg whites and yolks in two different bowls. Add the sugar to the bowl with the egg yolks and whisk until the mixture is smooth and pale. To the egg yolk mix, add water, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. Combine well. Mix the cake flour and baking powder into the egg yolks. Mix until it's smooth. Add cream of tartar and a pinch of salt to the bowl with the egg whites. Mix it until it forms stiff peaks. In three parts, gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk batter. Be careful not to deflate the egg whites. For 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 320F 160C. A cake pan that fits in your air fryer basket should be greased and lined. Pour the cake batter into the pan that has been set up. In the air fryer basket, put the cake pan. Air fry at 320F 160C for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle of the cake comes out clean. After the cake is done, take it out of the air fryer and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, move it to a wire rack to finish cooling. Cut your Air Fryer Chiffon Cake into pieces, serve it, and enjoy!
