Naghuhugas ako ng pinagkainan namin. Payapa naman ang aming kabahayan... Nang magdrama ang youngest sister ko,

Ainah: Ma, pagkatapos ko ng grade 4, di na ako maaral..

Ako: (shocked) Ha?

Mama: (nawaglit sa ginagawa nyang test papers sa laptop) Bakit? (worried tone)

Ainah: Ayaw ko na kasi maggrade 5, 6 at high school.

Mama: Maano ka na lang pala? Mamamalimos? (sarcasm here)

Ainah: (umiyak na) Eh kasi naman.. Di ako marunong magkabit-kabit na sulat. Pinagtatawahan ako nung mga grade 5. Tapos si ate Melay.. Sabi, di daw ako marunong.. (sabi nya in between sobs)

Take note: grade 1 pa lang sya. Six years old. Tss. ~_~

Hanep yan. Akala ko kung ano. Pasaway na bata.. Di pa naman talaga sya marunong kasi nga grade 1 pa lang sya. Wala pa nga, pinoproblema na agad. Ang kyot-kyot lang ng kapatid kong ito. >3

This post is not about my boyfriend, or my parents or anyone who is very close to me. This person who inspired me is someone who I just met this college, she's my classmate. I never knew how lucky I am until I heard her story. Her story goes like this:

One day, my Filipino teacher assigned some of my classmates to tell something about themselves. It was Ainah's turn to tell her story. Before she told the story, she didn't look like someone who needed help, someone who is going through a lot. I looked at her differently after her story. She's only 17 but she's done a lot of things, and went through a lot of things. She's very intelligent and very kind to everyone. When she was in High school, her father died before her graduation. Their only source of income was their father. She was given the chance to enter college because of her scholarships. She graduated as Salutatorian in High School. She's from a province, Camarines Sur, I think? But I'm not sure. She was able to enter college without her mother's help because her mother wasn't working. All her expenses were all from her hardwork. In short, pinag-aral niya ang sarili niya. And she said, minsan pag may tira sa allowance niya, pinapadala niya sa mama niya sa probinsya kasi wala silang pera. Kasya na daw sakanya yung 50 pesos na baon papuntang school. Basta makapag-aral lang siya. Na inspire ako sakanya ng sobra sobra. Na realize ko na sobra sobra pa pala ang binibigay ng mga magulang ko sakin, eh kung makareklamo ako wagas. Sana sa mga estudyanteng hindi nag-aaral ng mabuti, isipin niyo mga magulang ninyo. Yung pagod nila at oras nila ng pagtatrabaho para lang mapag-aral kayo. Kung wala man kayong awa sakanila, sa mga sarili niyo nalang kayo maawa. Habang may mga taong nagpapagod para lang makapag-aral sa magandang paaralan, andiyan kayo na sinisira niyo ang pagkakataon na matuto kayo.
