How has the algorithm never fed me this before? It’s *so* right up my alley! Peak BLACKPINK performing my favorite song is reason enough to love it, but the journey Lisa’s bracelet goes on is the kind of thing I live for. This one goes straight into my hall of fame.
AIIYL is so strange because the verses, pre-choruses and choruses don’t quite feel like they fit together. It kind of feels like someone made mutiple attempts on Boombayah and then took some of those attempts and put them together (which seems to track based on the multiple mashups that I’ve listened to and the fact that I can’t seperate the prechoruses in my mind).
The parts seperately are actually quite nice (except Lisa’s rap in the second verse. Her post-chorus is my favourite part of the song but I can do without that rap as is the case for many if not all BP songs) but they don’t quite gel together.
Probably the best thing I’ve ever seen on YouTube.
