The Tale of Shuper Tomkyat & Softpaw of the Night
Once, in a city where concrete dreams met midnight motorbikes, there lived a reluctant hero known only as Shuper Tomkyat. He was gruff of voice, eternally sleepy, and carried the weight of ten thousand unspoken “I’m fine”s. By day, he fixed things. By night, he prowled the streets with a half-zipped jacket and full sarcasm activated. He was known for his sharp glances, warm silences, and a helmet that hid more than just hair.
But even the toughest tomkyat has a soft spot — and for him, it came in the form of a curious little creature called Softpaw. Gentle-hearted, chaos-adjacent, and likely to trip over her own feelings. She called him names no one else dared: TomTom, Tomkyat, Shuper Tomkyat™️. With each one, she pulled him further out of hiding — not by force, but with glitter, gifs, and gritted love.
On the hardest days, when accidents shook the world or memories returned from old Vietnamese roads, he would message her like a mission log. Sparse. Direct. Almost like he was typing to himself.
And so she would respond with a Nyan Cat.
Because sometimes love isn’t a sonnet. Sometimes it’s a flying poptart with a rainbow trail, sent by a softpaw who knows your whole heart hides behind your grumble.
And in that quiet, between crashes and chaos, Tomkyat softened. Just enough. Maybe not for the world. But always — for Softpaw
