in celebration of ikigusare's 9th album , including the song "aibiki" where aibiki chan originated from, turning 10 years old today,, i decided to dedicate a drawing to this special meaty individual on this special day,,,,^_^_^

few funfacts abt aibiki 🎀🥩🍖

- namaichirou came up with the song while he was messing around with sounds, until it came out with this motif and thought "it sounds like something for a wedding". later on he was a guest for a radioshow by a friend of his. they were both drunk, and his friend asked him: "what do you think intercourse between demons is like?",,,, namaichirou thought about it and came up with "they mince eachother and mix together." and so he wanted to use that sound for a song to celebrate their new life, being mixed together forever

- aibiki both means "a secret rendezvous between lovers" ( you can translate it into a tryst ), and minced pork with beef

- namaichirou actually didn't want to include another side character for the mv at first, since he was afraid of not paying much attention to the main idols choreography,, but he turned out to like the setting with the church being a meat factory, the hooked meat, meatgrinder, and aibiki chan

- aibiki chan is two people mixed together, so i sometimes refer to her as they/them

- aibiki was refferenced in the song "hyakku monogatari" ( transl. one hundred tales ), which was the 4th track on the 10th album and also the hundredth song by ikigusare. The song consists of refferences of other older songs from prior albums ( like Raspberry Marmelade Pudding, Sawing, Little Witch Sacchan, etc....... ). the song was refferenced as "a story about a meatfactory"

- the mv of aibiki was released on the 9th of january 2020, while the song was released in the 9th album on the 25th of october 2015

- i like to think that aibiki chan was named hibiki before being minced together with her lover

- i also like to think that the song is abt her being frustrated with not being able to see her lover ( who i like to think is the woman from the noppera boy mv ), because both of their families are not agreeing of their same sex relationship. and so they decide to become unseparable by becoming mixed together in a mincing machine

- i had about 18 dreams so far with aibiki chan, and they are still continuing

- i keep my aibiki stuff in a heartshaped box, including pictures, pins, keychains, and things that remind me of her,, i refer to my aibiki stuff as doohickeys
