So we all now what Nicktoons Re-Unite! would look like....

That being in the style of @nicktoonsunite

But from an animation standpoint....well

This took me a while to settle on, but I decided that if this series was animated, it would be done Animation Imagination Studios, the same studio behind Cartoon Network's Villainous.

The plot of the episode was already perfect so I’m just gonna talk about the voice acting and how the English dub handled.

All and all, pretty dang good for a pilot!

Black Hat had a bit of an accent and was as menacing, as always.

Flug had a cute little lisp and showed good emotion and panic.

Demencia was a bit high voiced, but I liked it a lot and she was still very funny.

5.0.5 was perfect (as usual).

Penumbra’s voice grew on me after awhile, but she’s still amazing.

Sunblast... it was rough at first and wasn’t too emotion filled at the end (but the actor did his best and it’s not like we’ll ever see him again)

Golden Heart sounds like a decent human being and like a brotherly type of person....hmmm....

Sadly, they did miss quite a few good jokes such as, (and bear with me, I don’t remember the ACTUAL quotes), “you can’t just bend the rules like... MY BACK” or “the suns going DOWN” or “Team Black Hat is defeated again!” or “What’s for breakfast?” or “Oh, he’s sleeping”. I mean I get it! Things get lost in translation, the line was so small they missed it, etc. etc. They also cleaned up the cuss words, but hey. What’cha gonna do? (Edit: I was just informed that some of the jokes were not in the original script. They were ablibbed mostly by Flug’s Spanish VA, therefore they would not be in the English dub).

But hey! It’s the first full length English dub for the pilot episode. Non-animated pilots have been even worse, leading to complete character, name, plot, and/or actor change, and yet the shows turn out to be a hit! They just need to find their footing and delve deeper into the characters, and they’ve got it! And the translation could be better, but I was worried that more things would be lost so I’m very pleased.

So please, Please, PLEASE stop shitting on the English dub! So it wasn’t perfect? Big fucking whoop! Nothing and nobody is perfect! Complaining isn’t going to make it any better. It’s just gonna make the studios and actors involved feel bad about themselves and you seem to be shitty human being.

Focus on the good stuff like the cute lisp! Build this dub up, not down. Be proud of the people who made this possible. We’re fortunate that they even made an English version in the first place!

Well I couldn’t watch it complete on TV ‘cause my mom sent me to buy some bread 10 minutes before the release (and that means to drive to the near town... goddamit). Luckily, the episode is on youtube as well and now all I can say is

 I LOVED IT SOO MUCH!!!!!

The animation was so great and it keeps the same humor like the Orientation videos (Pepe Toño Macias was great as always with Flug’s lines xD). It even has easter eggs from other CN shows!!

CONGRATS TO AI STUDIOS FOR SUCH AN AMAZING WORK!!! NOW I CAN’T REALLY WAIT FOR THE REAL SERIES!!!!!
