Wait! I initially had no idea about this before because we really don't have a lot of info about his history besides his origins. But his reaction to being flirted with is so funny!!! I can see him trying to understand it and even trying it out himself.
Now my headcanon is that he has tried flirting here and there as a experiment and thought the reactions he got were pretty amusing. And over time, he learned that humans typically flirted with people they were attracted to, he became more careful about who he flirted with.
And now I'm thinking this could be an angst (with happy ending) prompt/idea of a girl from his past who misunderstood his flirting? And maybe she got upset at him and they had a fallout as close friends and then they meet again years later.
