working in academia does force you to confront very intelligent people with very different ideas to you. and sometimes those ideas will be Interesting as a Thought Experiment and maybe make you reassess your own preconceptions, and other times,, for example certain ummm takes on genAI, will have you really really really understanding how Dr. Ryland Grace ended his career by someone a "staggering waste of carbon." My favourite blellow art is when they draw Blue with yellow accents and Yellow with blue accents. Lovers having matching yet contrasting to their design tokens of their partner/s are my kryptonite
