not to be a wet blanket tonight or anything but also. brimhat x librarian agoco doesn’t compel me…….. like. the Agott who is a librarian is fundamentally different than Canon Agott bc she has not had to contend with failure in the same way. Agott as a character is someone who (especially in the early chapters) is trying as hard as she possibly can to follow The Rules because she has learned that following the rules keeps her safe and ALSO that any failure will result in extreme consequences. And based on what we have In Canon of the inner workings of Higher Witch Society there’s an INSANE amount of nepotism happening in there and a lot of also gossip politics and. I love Agott but she’s the kind of person to tell you to your face that your idea is dumb. An Agott who ISNT in Arklaum isn’t going to get a librarianship and an Agott who IS an Arklaum is fundamentally invested in Witch Society Laws in ways Canon Agott isn’t (has social power etc) and straight up Wouldn’t hang with a brimhat. she would be a massive square.
