MY TWO ALL TIME FAVORITE OCs, HOW RUDE. But maybe surprisingly... Gracie.

Gracie nodded her head at Hugo, although on the inside she was cringing. This was the wizarding world, after all -- these things might actually work, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to know what it would say if they managed to make contact with Hugo’s fallen best friend. It had been nearly a year since Joe had died at the wedding, now, but she still carried around the idae that it was her fault -- and no matter how many times Hugo promised her it wasn’t, would he still think that if Dead Joe told him otherwise? Or would he finally blame her, and leave her hanging right when she felt like her life was falling apart at the seams? The pressure of Umbra, of Quidditch tryouts, of the war... it was overwhelming, and she needed Hugo by her side.

“Oh, uh -- I really think this should be a private moment, you know? Like... for you guys,” Gracie lied, standing up as quickly as she could and backing away from Hugo and his stupid ouija board. “Have -- have a nice time talking to Joe, I’ve got Quidditch stuff I need to work on!”

“Uh huh... that’s information I’ve always wanted, gramps,” Gracie told him, leaning in close and grabbing the sides of his face, just like he’d instructed. But instead of making contact with her lips, Gracie reached up and flicked his nose instead, laughing at the shocked look on his face. “You’re drunk, Potter, go drink some water and sleep it off before I really hit you for being a prat next time.”

“You’re dreaming, old man. The only reason people are staring at you right now is because you’re standing next to me. Obviously I’m the main event, not the grandpa standing beside me.”
