#future!gracie

WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: I think they’re both bad wrappers. Hugo’s the clumsy one in a family full of perfectionists who can do it for him, and Gracie is... Gracie. She doesn’t have the patience. They’d probably just do extra practice to be able to do Charms to do the wrapping for them, or be the type of friends who would put it inside box after box after box and then inside of multipe bags just to mess with each other, but there’s only horrible wrapping from both of them. 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: Hugo probably thinks he’s going to get this honor and marches into Gracie’s room only to find she’s not even there! She’s out trying to get her Quidditch-training run out of the way before Hugo even wakes up so she doesn’t have to miss a second of Chrsitmas with him.

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: Their meddling family tbh. And by ‘their’ I mean Hugo’s. Whether it’s his mom or Roxy or even James, someone is probably playing matchmaker for these two crazy kids if they can’t get their act together themselves. 

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: Gracie’s whizzing around on her broom even indoors tbh, and Hugo’s probably joining her and the two of them are making a big mess that later Hermione has to clean up with her wand while she shakes her head at her over-grown children. 

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: Gracie. Definitely the one with the temper, there’s no doubt about it. 

[text] I had one beer! ONE BEER! They took shots in mourning of my tolerance last night. My ability to drink is a joke. 

[text] Well, at least you’re a cheap date.[text] Has it seriously been that long since you’ve really gone out and had a good time, Potter? And here I thought I was the most pitiful one in Luce’s wedding party.[text] All right, before we embarrass ourselves at the bachelor and bachelorette parties, we need to start training. I’m dragging you out for nightly drinks the next two weeks after work. You’ll be at champion status in no time.

[text] I think there’s something about mermaid genetics that makes it harder for us to process alcohol? [text] I’m really glad you ended up in my kitchen instead of somewhere more dangerous, though! I guess Lydia and Malia must have remembered that my parents were out of town.[text] Next time can you guys maybe warn me that you’re coming? I kind of got out a sword and was about to come down the stairs slicing away until I heard Malia’s voice.
